Four Primary Forms

Iron oxide is available in four primary forms, each with distinct properties and applications.

Hematite

Hematite

Hematite is also known as Iron (III) oxide having the formula Fe2O3 but is red in color and exhibits anti-ferromagnetic (non-magnetic) behavior. NanoChemonics synthetically produces nano particle size acicular hematites for transparent iron oxides and catayst applicatins. The particles are stable in air and are heat treated to provide a variety of color shades where red transparent pigments are required.
