Corporate History

Since 1987, and our discovery of a viable commercial process to produce nanoparticle iron oxide, NanoChemonics, Inc. has been at the forefront of Research and Development in a variety of applications. Since 1997, we have produced and sold several hundred Metric tons of nanoparticle iron oxides for coating and magnetic applications.

As the pioneers and discoverers of America first settled in Virginia, so their Spirit continues to kindle in us at our research and production facility in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. Utilizing 6 sigma experimental design, we have developed many new and novel forms of nanoparticle iron oxide. Our development continues, as we expand into other inorganic metal oxides and focus on the new industrial revolution and our role as a high quality supplier in this exciting market. Our monthly production capability is in excess of 600 Metric tons of nanoparticle iron oxide in aqueous, dry powder, or press-cake form.
